Serving homes across central and northern New Jersey

Privacy Policy

This policy explains what New Jersey Seamless collects through this website, why we collect it, who helps us handle it and the choices you have. We install roofs, siding, gutters and windows on homes, so we ask only for what we need to answer you and plan the work.

Effective date: October 16, 2026. Last updated: October 16, 2026.

Who is responsible for your information?

New Jersey Seamless runs this website and decides how the information collected through it is used. In privacy law terms, we are the controller. You can reach us by email at info@newjerseyseamless.com or by phone at (732) 231-5327.

What information do we collect?

We collect what you choose to send us, plus a small amount of technical data that keeps our forms working and free of spam. You can browse the site without telling us who you are.

Information you give us

Our full, short and estimate forms ask for some or all of the following:

  • Contact details: your name and phone number, and your email address when you give one. Email is optional on some forms.
  • Where the home is: a street address or a ZIP code, so we know whether we serve the area.
  • Your project: the type of work, such as a roof, gutters or siding, and any details you type in the message box.
  • Tool results: if you use a roof size or price tool before you send a form, the result is sent with your request.
  • Your consent: whether you ticked the optional texting box, and the exact wording shown next to it.
  • Photos and texts: if we list a number for text messages, the photos and messages you send to it.

Information recorded when you send a form

  • The date and time, the page you sent the form from and which form you used.
  • Campaign tags in the link that brought you here, such as utm_source or a Google or Facebook click ID, when the link had them.
  • Your browser’s user-agent string, which names the browser and type of device.
  • A one-way hash of your IP address. A hash is a scrambled code that cannot easily be turned back into the address. We use it to limit repeated submissions, and we do not store the IP address itself with your request.

How do we use your information?

We use it to answer you and to plan and do the work you ask about. We do not use it for unrelated purposes without asking you first.

  • To call, text or email you about your request, set up a visit and send your estimate.
  • To prepare a written contract and do the job, if you hire us, and to keep records of that work.
  • To keep the website secure and block spam and abuse.
  • To see, in total, which pages and links help visitors and which need work.
  • To meet our legal, tax and record-keeping duties.

Each request is saved in our website’s database and emailed to our team. If we connect the site to a customer management (CRM) system, a copy of each request is also sent to that system.

Calls and text messages

When you send a form, you ask us to call or email you about your project. Texting is separate and optional: only if you tick the texting box do you agree that New Jersey Seamless may text the number you give us about your project. Consent to texts is not a condition of purchase.

We ask because a call or email is how we reply to a request. You never have to agree to texts to buy from us. You can call us at (732) 231-5327 or email info@newjerseyseamless.com instead.

  • Our texts are about your request or job: questions, visit times, your estimate and project updates. How many you get depends on your project.
  • Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan.
  • Reply STOP to any text and we will stop texting that number. Reply HELP for help, or contact us by phone or email.
  • We do not sell or share your mobile number or your text consent with other companies for their marketing.
  • Mobile carriers are not responsible for delayed or undelivered messages.

If we list a number for texts, you can send it photos of your roof, gutters or siding. We use them to understand the project before a visit and keep them with your request. Texts reach us through our phone carrier and any texting service we use.

How do our forms block spam?

Our forms use a few quiet checks to stop automated spam. A hidden field that people never see catches many bots. We also limit how many forms one connection can send in a short time, using the hashed IP address described above.

When we turn it on, Cloudflare Turnstile also runs a quick check in your browser. To do that, Cloudflare processes your IP address and information about your browser and device. Cloudflare’s privacy policy explains how it handles that data.

What happens to an address typed into the roof size tool?

Our server sends the address to Google so the tool can measure the roof. It goes first to Google’s Geocoding API, which finds the location, and then to Google’s Solar API, which estimates the roof’s size and pitch.

The request comes from our server, not your browser, and the tool does not send your name or contact details to Google. We keep the measurement on our server for 30 days so the same address does not need a second lookup. That saved result is filed under a scrambled code made from the address, not under your name. The address becomes part of a request only if you also send a form. We limit lookups from one connection each hour, again using a hashed IP address. Google handles the address under its own privacy policy.

Analytics, cookies and videos

We use analytics to see how visitors use the site as a whole, not to follow you around the web. These tools load shortly after a page opens: on your first scroll, tap, click or key press, or after a few seconds.

  • Google Analytics 4, sometimes loaded through Google Tag Manager, shows us which pages people visit, how they found the site and which buttons they use. It uses cookies. Google explains how it uses data from sites that use its services, and you can install Google’s Analytics opt-out add-on.
  • Microsoft Clarity runs only if we turn it on. It records clicks, scrolls and mouse movement so we can see where a page is confusing, and it uses cookies too. The Microsoft Privacy Statement applies.
  • YouTube videos do not load until you click play. The video then loads from YouTube’s privacy-enhanced player at youtube-nocookie.com, and Google’s privacy policy applies.

We do not use advertising cookies. If we ever add them, we will update this policy first. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and most of the site still works without them.

Who do we share information with?

We do not sell your personal data, including sensitive data such as precise location or financial details, and we do not share it for targeted advertising. We share it only with companies that help us run the website and our business, and only so they can do that work for us.

  • Our website hosting company, which stores the site and its database, including the requests you send.
  • Our email provider, which delivers each new request to our inbox.
  • A customer management (CRM) system, if we connect one, which receives a copy of each request.
  • Cloudflare for Turnstile spam checks, Google for the Geocoding API, Solar API, Analytics and YouTube, and Microsoft for Clarity if it is on, as described above.
  • Our phone and texting providers, which carry calls and texts between us.

We may also disclose information when the law requires it or to protect someone’s safety. If our business is ever sold or merged, the records would move with it, and this policy would still cover what we collected.

How long do we keep it?

We keep a request for as long as we need it to prepare your estimate and, if you hire us, to do the job and stand behind it. After that we keep only the records we must keep for legal and tax purposes, and then we delete them.

Roof size results stay in the tool’s saved results for 30 days. Analytics data is kept under the retention settings of Google Analytics and, if it is on, Microsoft Clarity. You can ask us to delete your request sooner, as explained below.

How do we protect it?

We use reasonable safeguards for a business our size. The site uses an encrypted HTTPS connection. Requests sit behind password-protected administrator accounts, and only people who need them to serve you can see them. We store a hash of your IP address rather than the address itself.

No website or email system is perfectly secure. Please do not send payment card numbers, bank details or Social Security numbers through our forms or by text.

What are your rights and choices?

You can ask what personal data we hold about you, get a copy, have it corrected or have it deleted. You can also opt out of any sale of your data, targeted advertising or profiling, although we do none of these.

The New Jersey Data Privacy Act

The New Jersey Data Privacy Act (P.L.2023, c.266, N.J.S.A. 56:8-166.4 and following) took effect on January 15, 2025. According to the law’s text, it applies to businesses that, in a calendar year, control or process the personal data of at least 100,000 New Jersey consumers, not counting data used only to complete a payment. It also applies to businesses that handle the data of at least 25,000 consumers and earn revenue or discounts from selling personal data.

A local contractor like us may fall below those thresholds. We honor the requests below for every visitor anyway, wherever you live.

Requests you can make

  • Confirm whether we hold personal data about you, and get a copy in a common format you can reuse.
  • Correct information that is wrong or out of date.
  • Delete the information you sent us, apart from records the law requires us to keep.
  • Opt out of any sale of your personal data, targeted advertising or profiling. We do none of these today.
  • Stop calls and texts at any time by replying STOP to a text or by telling us.

How to make a request

Email info@newjerseyseamless.com or call (732) 231-5327. Include the email address or phone number you used on our forms so we can find your records. Requests by email are the quickest for us to handle, because our website’s export and erase tools look up form records by email address. If you did not give us an email, we will search another way, such as by your phone number.

Before we act, we may ask you to confirm a detail from your original request, so we never hand your information to the wrong person. Someone you choose can make a request for you if they show us your written permission. We do not charge for requests, and we will not treat you differently for making one. We answer within 45 days. If we need more time, we tell you so within those 45 days, and we may take up to 45 more days when that is reasonably necessary. If we cannot do what you ask, we tell you why within 45 days and explain how to appeal.

To appeal, reply to our answer or email info@newjerseyseamless.com with “Privacy appeal” in the subject line. We decide an appeal in writing within 45 days and give our reasons. If we deny it, you can file a complaint with the New Jersey Division of Consumer Affairs through its website, njconsumeraffairs.gov.

Do we honor Global Privacy Control?

Yes. If your browser or a browser extension sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of the sale of your personal data and of targeted advertising. We do neither, so the signal does not change how the site works today. If that ever changes, we will update this policy first and honor the signal.

Children’s privacy

This website is meant for adults planning work on a home. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 13. If you think a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Links to other websites

Some links and buttons take you to other companies’ pages, such as Google reviews, a booking calendar, product makers or government sources. Their own privacy policies apply once you are there. Our terms of use explain more about outside links.

Changes to this policy

We will update this page when the site or our practices change, and we will revise the “Last updated” line at the top. If we plan a material change in how we use your information, such as adding advertising cookies, we will post the new policy with a new effective date, and a notice on our home page, before the change takes effect.

How to contact us about privacy

Questions about this policy or your information go to New Jersey Seamless by email at info@newjerseyseamless.com or by phone at (732) 231-5327. You can also reach us through our contact page.
